Brief description

GLOBE Fuelcells, a company founded in Germany, offers IT-supported fuel cell (FC) systems for industrial trucks that enable real-time access to all performance and sensor data, thereby improving the interaction between the filling station, industrial trucks and operating processes as an overall system. For the first time, these innovative FC systems based on artificial intelligence are therefore to be put into operation at the Mercedes-Benz plant in üǰ and the operating processes optimized with FFZ. The level of technological maturity achieved through this implementation in operation will create a new market for the product and satisfy existing needs in the logistics sector. In addition, the development of new providers will stimulate competition in the industry in order to increase the overall profitability of FC-FCs through economies of scale. The planned project aims to further develop the technological maturity (target TRL 7) of 80 V FC systems in FCs from different manufacturers. To this end, GLOBE's manufacturer-independent technology, which has already been tested in the laboratory, is to be further developed from a current TRL 5 under everyday conditions to such an extent that the emission-free operation of FCs in an overall system of “hydrogen-powered industrial trucks in intralogistics” can be optimized overall and a subsequent demonstration project can be prepared.
