Circular B-I/O

Brief description

In order to reduce the CO2 footprint of concrete, cement clinker must be reduced and used as efficiently as possible. Currently, products from the petrochemical industry and industrial residues are used for this purpose. However, these resources can also be replaced much more sustainably by equivalent unused bio-based agricultural and water management residues. The concepts developed in the Kenyan pilot will later be extrapolated to European framework conditions and raw material deposits.
