Combine medicine, IT and innovation: In our MSC Health Informatics, you'll design digital healthcare solutions with AI, data science and human-centered tech. Be the future of health!
Our Master's in Health Informatics prepares you to lead the digital transformation of healthcare. You will gain both technological and medical expertise and learn how to build human-centred, ethical , and sustainable health tech solutions.
You start by building a strong foundation in medical and computer science - no matter your background. From there, you will dive into data analytics, AI in healthcare, cloud computing, digital infrastructures, and clinical research. You'll learn to manage innovation, navigate healthcare law, and work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
In your third semester, you choose a specialization that fits your goals:
You'll learn through real-world projects, small group teaching and hands-on labs - supported by innovation labs, virtual sandboxes and hackathons.
With your interdisciplinary skillset, you'll be ready to drive change in healthcare organisations, startups, research , or government. You will be qualified for key roles such as:
The demand for Health Informatics experts is growing globally - and you will be prepared to thrive in this fast-evolving job market.
At the beginning of your Master's degree programme in Health informatics, you will build your knowledge of interdisciplinary fundamentals. Students from different disciplines can strengthen their previous knowledge through bridge courses in medicine or IT and acquire in-depth knowledge in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital systems**,** and research methods.
As your studies progress, you will deepen your knowledge through practice-oriented projects and work on current topics such as cloud computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), and health data visualisation. In the subsequent specialisation phase, you will have the opportunity to set your own priorities and develop innovative ideas.
At the end of your Master's degree programme, you will complete your Master's thesis, which you will ideally write in collaboration with a partner from the healthcare sector or as part of your own start-up or innovation projects.
We will be happy to send you further information. You will also find the complete curriculum therein.
