Which company did you found and how did it come about?
I founded my TikTok marketing agency in 2022, which came about because at the beginning of Covid I had a with over 100,000 subscribers. As many companies contacted me because of my videos, I decided to set up an agency and help them achieve their goals.
How can you use the content from your studies in your work as a founder?
One of the most important qualities that helped me in my start-up phase is social skills. Organisational skills and selling ideas were also important. I was able to hone my skills in modules at 鶹ýӳ. By constantly practising these skills in presentations and lectures, I was able to perfect them.
What do you like about studying at 鶹ýӳ?
Studying at 鶹ýӳ enabled me to gain experience as an entrepreneur and self-employed person while studying. I was also encouraged and supported by a competent environment, which was reinforced by the small classes. As I was in close contact with the lecturers, I was able to contact them directly if I had any questions.
In this interview, Stephan talks about his current job as Strategy and Operations Associate at the digital bank N26 and his studies at 鶹ýӳ.

12Do you already know exactly where you want your career to take you? Then you have the opportunity to choose your specialisation in your Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration at 鶹ýӳ before you start your studies:
Which company(ies) did you found and how did it come about?
Alongside my studies and thanks to the free time during corona, I decided to found my second company, a digital agency. We help companies to create better websites and promote them. This means we don't just take on web design and digital marketing as a short-term project, we proactively teach companies how to do it. This saves our customers money in the long term and enables them to use their website as a tool on their own.
How can you use the content from your studies in your work as a founder?
The marketing modules in particular, with regard to market research and value proposition development, have helped me to find a gap in the market and serve it appropriately. In addition to the technical skills, the presentation and slide design skills have also given me a lot along the way.
What do you like about studying at 鶹ýӳ?
I had a lot of freedom during my degree programme to pursue my studies in a targeted manner alongside the modules. The exam stress is spread over the months, so there is always enough time to tackle my own projects and learn from them. I am particularly grateful for the close collaboration with the professors and lecturers - I was able to make great contacts and learn a lot from personal conversations.
In addition to technical and methodological skills, social and personal skills are crucial today. 鶹ýӳ 's innovative, successful and award-winning CORE principle promotes independent and active learning so that you can apply your knowledge directly in practice - for a clear competitive advantage.
