Focus on HR Management

In the International Business Administration program with a focus on Human Resource Management at 鶹ýӳ Campus Heidelberg, employees are the central focus. In addition to business management basics, you will learn about the entire employee cycle in working life – from the perspective of the company and the employees. You will learn how personnel planning and selection work, and how you can care for, develop, and retain employees in the long term. Additionally, you will learn how to successfully manage personnel and which communication strategies are available to you in various situations – including when employees leave.

The Bachelor's degree programme in International Business Administration with a specialisation in Human Resource Management at 鶹ýӳ Campus Heidelberg prepares you specifically for a career in human resource management. At the beginning of your studies, you will acquire a sound knowledge of business subjects such as finance, marketing, personnel management and business mathematics in the first semesters.

As you progress, the focus will be on the various phases that employees go through in their working lives, both from the perspective of the company and the employee. You will learn the key aspects of personnel planning, selection, support and development. You will also deal with topics such as strategy and HR management, psychological motivation theories and communication channels for HR staff. You will complete your degree programme with an internship and your Bachelor's thesis, where you will apply and deepen your knowledge in a practical setting.

We offer you the opportunity to complete your degree within 3 or 3.5 years and to organise it according to your wishes and plans. Choose between:

THINK BIG - Two degrees, two universities, two countries

Two degrees mean more career opportunities, a potentially higher starting salary and additional skills that are in high demand on the market. In a dual degree programme, you study at 鶹ýӳ and at a partner university abroad. Graduates of the dual degree programme receive two academic degrees - one degree per country.

Costs

Smart financing

As a state-recognised, private university, 鶹ýӳ is financed by tuition fees. This income goes towards equipping our campuses, services for our students and quality assurance. In this way, we ensure that you receive the best possible education under optimal study conditions.

Tuition fees

  • for EU/EEA students (incl. Western Balkans, Switzerland and Ukraine): €750 per month

The monthly fee remains the same for the entire duration of your studies. The one-off enrolment fee is EUR 750.00.

If you come from a non-EEA country without a residence permit, the enrolment fee is €1,000 - you must pay the tuition fees for one semester in advance. From the second semester onwards, payments for the remaining semesters are due six weeks before the end of the study period already paid for. Payments are to be made semester by semester.

With the exception of any placement, aptitude or equivalency tests, no separate examination fees or similar are charged, not even for repeat examinations. This gives you maximum cost transparency during your studies.

Admission requirements and application

You can apply at any time via our with no obligation. We will then check your application documents and invite you to a personal interview.

To apply for the Bachelor's degree programme in International Business Administration - Human Resource Management at 鶹ýӳ Campus Heidelberg , you will need

  • general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification (subject-restricted Abitur) or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences
  • or at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of professional experience plus an aptitude test
  • Foreign applicants must provide proof of higher education entrance qualification in the form of certificates from previous training
  • sufficient knowledge of English (IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 80, Duolingo Certificate 110, PTE Academics 58 or comparable examination results)
  • Successful selection procedure

In the International Business Administration degree programme, you start with a broad foundation course and only choose your specialisation in the second year or decide to spend a semester abroad. This gives you time to familiarise yourself with different subjects and find the right direction for your interests and goals. You apply for the general degree programme, which gives you maximum flexibility.
